Covid-19 pandemic shelter in place is an unfamiliar season for me, in fact, it’s for all of us. My plans are changed, my trips are canceled, and I have to stay at home till who knows when. The daily news makes me sad and anxious. But when I lift up my eyes to the mountains and sky, when I look at the oceans, or any natural creatures, I can feel God’s presence and I find HOPE and peace in him. Psalm 121 says,” I lift up my eyes to the mountains–where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip–he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you–the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm–he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”

This Hope series focuses on God’s creation and words. I hope that this series can help you to regain your hope and restore your joy and peace. Romans 15:13 says, “May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with Hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
