The Beauty of Four Seasons 四季之美

In this Four Seasons series, color becomes the language of each season. The landscape paintings express seasonal moods through splash-ink and color (Po Cai), while the floral works combine the traditional Going Bi with fluid spontaneity of Po Cai techniques.

The changing seasons remind me of the rhythm and faithfullness woven into God’s creation, seedtime and harvest, warmth and cold, joy and sorrow, mountains and valleys. Though I naturally long for warmth and light, I have come to see that each season carries its own beauty, purpose, and grace.

As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.”—Genesis 8:22

What is your favorite season? How do you navigate life’s more difficult seasons? My Hope is that this series will bring comfort, hope and strength to those walking through challenging times.
